Sheree Dohnt (b. 1990), is an established Artist residing in Fremantle, Western Australia. In 2011, Dohnt graduated from the University of Wollongong with a Bachelor of Creative Arts (Visual Arts).

Dohnt approaches the possibilities of portraiture with a process driven art practice, and as a negotiation between artist, subject, medium and viewer, to encapsulate the themes of identity, parenthood and womanhood. Dohnt’s art practice is rooted in connection; preferring to paint from life, with the aim of conveying a sense of intimacy and insight into each individual.

Dohnt’s recent accolades have included the Highly Commended award at the City of Rockingham Art Prize 2026, Works on Paper category award at the South Perth Emerging Artist Awards 2025, and Finalist in the Mid West Art Prize 2025. Dohnt is a member of the WA Portrait Artists and the Watercolour Society of Western Australia.
